Who We Are

Running a small business means wearing every hat. Manetto Hill Bookkeeping was started to take bookkeeping off your plate so you can focus on the parts of your business you actually enjoy.

Why Manetto Hill Bookkeeping

15+

Years of Financial Experience

Long Island

Based and Focused

A landscaper finishes a long day of jobs and still has to sit down with receipts and a spreadsheet. A cleaning company owner is reconciling bank statements at midnight because that's the only quiet hour. A nonprofit director is doing payroll manually because they never set up a better system.

These are the businesses we work with. Service companies and nonprofits on Long Island where the books keep getting pushed to "later" because there's always something more urgent.

Manetto Hill Bookkeeping was started to solve that problem. We handle the bookkeeping on an ongoing basis so it never becomes a backlog. Transaction categorization, bank reconciliations, monthly reporting. The work that has to get done but doesn't need to be done by you.

Our background spans corporate finance, nonprofit accounting, and small business operations. That experience shapes how we work. You get clean records, clear reports, and books that are ready when your accountant needs them.

Meet Sarah the Owner

I hold QuickBooks ProAdvisor and Intuit Bookkeeping certifications and have spent over 15 years working in finance.

I spent several years in corporate finance at Foot Locker and the New York Mets before moving into nonprofit bookkeeping. The work at Foot Locker involved capital planning and financial analysis for a national store fleet. At the Mets, I managed sales audit for ticket revenue operations. Most recently, I handled full-cycle bookkeeping for a church, overseeing everything from payroll and contributions to year-end financial statements.

That experience gave me a strong foundation in financial controls and accuracy. But I found the most rewarding work when I started helping small businesses.

In 2020, I launched a digital marketing agency. Running my own business meant wearing every hat, including managing the books. I also saw other small business owners in the same position. They were spending their evenings on QuickBooks when they could have been with their families or resting up for the next day. They weren't doing anything wrong. They just didn't have anyone to take it off their plate.

That's what Manetto Hill Bookkeeping is for. I work with service businesses and nonprofits on Long Island who need reliable bookkeeping without having to do it themselves. Clean books, ready for tax time, handled by someone who understands both the numbers and what it takes to run a small business.
